The black and grey upper is not optional, but other elements of the shoe are customizable on NIKEiD within Schneider's chosen color palette for the JFS VaporMax project of Hyper Turquoise, Hyper Orange, black, and clear.Just in time for fall, the Nike Air Huarache is back with some new outdoors hiking vibes thanks to these two Nike ACG-inspired looks. Both call to mind the classic Nike Air Mowabb, the first Nike hiking shoe to feature Huarache technology back in 1992. The Air Huarache has been no stranger to ACG-like colorways in the past, and now the trend continues with this duo of earthy looks for 2017.
The Mowabb inspiration comes through clearly on the first option, featuring a light grey and tan suede and neoprene combination with purple and orange accents and a speckled midsole. The second new colorway features a more general hiking vibe, featuring dark green suede upper with black and tan neoprene, bright red accents, and the same speckled midsole. Both colorways also feature striped boot-style laces to add to the ACG theme. No official release date for the "Mowabb" Air Huaraches has been released yet, but you'll be able to hike in and pick up a pair at select Nike Sportswear retailers later this fall. The good news is, there's a "Multi-Color" Nike VaporMax releasing nike air huarache womens soon. The bad news? They're only available in Tokyo, Japan. The rainbow effect is coming to the Flyknit upper of the VaporMax, featured in a white base with the multiple hues interwoven around the base of the upper from toe to heel. But it appears that the actual NBA logo of Jerry West's silhouette is making its way onto select shoes as well as we get a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low featuring the league logo on the heel. The Swoosh is also much larger than what you'd expect (more of a bellied Swoosh seen on select Blazers) and the heel reads AF-1 in larger type. A release is expected to come later this year or early 2018. Barring a surprise release this month, it appears that the next adidas Yeezy Boost drop is scheduled for October 14th.
